I know it's a game based on a cartoon, which these days all look the
same. But this one is different. I'll try to explain. The game is based on the idea that Donald's lusted one, Daisy, was kidnapped by Merlock, an evil sorcerer. Then you go on playing platform levels until you reach the end. That's the basic idea for it but there is much more to it. To get to a boss you'll need to collect board pieces, which are hard to find. Then, to unlock extra stuff like costumes you need to find toys.
The game takes sometime to finish and by the end the story becomes
quite amusing because, like the cartoon, we all know Donald has quite a temper and that shows in the game. Old characters all pop up too which is fun and certainly makes the comic book and cartoon fans happy. The levels are really well designed.
The music doesn't change much and it's kind of pleasant until it drills
into your ears because it seems like the same melody for the whole game. And beside the music it's quite a good game to pick up and play for a bit, especially if you're a fan of Donald adventure. It's definitely not one of the best games on the Dreamcast and it's definitely not one of the worst. Perhaps only those gamers who are into cartoons and want to relive the adventures of Disney's most famous wild duck will enjoy this one.
